J&K Police and Army achieved a major success byarresting one   terrorist of LeT outfitalong with arms and ammunition from Phagsoo Forest  in the jurisdiction of Police station Thathriof district Doda today.

He has been identified as Jamal Din  Gujjar S/O Khair Din R/O  Pathna Keshwan  Kishtwar .

Reports said that acting on  reliable  information about the  presence /movement of  terrorists in general forest area of Thathri, today on  24th of  July, 2019, a joint   operations partyof  District Police Doda in associationwith 26 RR  launched searchoperation  and  cordoned the forest   area falling in thejurisdiction of Police station Thathri . The area was cordoned off and during search , one  terrorist of   LeT  outfit namely   Jamal Din  Gujjar S/O Khair Din R/O  Pathna Keshwan  Kishtwar who was active  for the last oneyear, was  arrested   from Phagsoo Forest  in thejurisdiction of Police station Thathri. During cordon and search , 01 AK Rifle,01 Magazine of AK,  01 Pouch and otheredible items were recovered from the arrested  terrorist.  He was carrying a reward of   05 lacs.

Jamal Din was  earlierinjured in an encounter  which had  taken place  in Sarawan  Forest in  Kishtwar on 22-06-2019 in anencounter with SOG of  DistrictKishtwar  and since then he washiding  in the  area.
